The vaccines needed for each dog varies depending on their lifestyle and what risks they may be exposed to. During your pet’s annual visit with us, we will discuss which vaccines will keep your fur baby best protected in their everyday lives, as well as for many happy and healthy years to come.

What types of vaccinations do you offer for adult dogs?

There are two different categories of vaccines; core and non-core.

Core – administered to all healthy dogs.
Non-Core – administered selectively based on geography, lifestyle and exposure risk.

Core Vaccines include:

Non-Core Vaccines include:

  • Bordetella – More commonly known as kennel cough. Required when boarding dogs in a kennel or daycare.

Typically, a veterinarian would need to prescribe this nutrition for the treatment of a specific disease or condition. Hence the brand “Prescription Diet”. Store-bought brands are for wellness and prevention, NOT treatment - this is a very important distinction!
